B2E: Our First Six Months

In ZEBx's fourth year of growing capacity, confidence and a community of practice, ZEBx accomplished a lot, including the launch of the B2E Coalition!

What started as a City of Vancouver initiative in 2018, focused on slashing operational emissions from new buildings, has grown into a province-wide, building decarbonization Centre of Excellence called ZEBx, focused on both operational and embodied emissions in both new and existing buildings. The growing engagement and participation gives us a connection to the building sector like no other organization and allows us to leverage expertise from across the sector to ensure our work is relevant and impactful.
